Hudson United Soccer Club is offering its annual Spring Development Soccer program that is designed to help your child take the next step in soccer. This program offers a more intense training led by our Hudson United Travel Coaches that includes 2 weekly training sessions over the course of 3 weeks. It is led by our professional travel coaches for several weeks in April and May with an emphasis on individual foot skills, passing, shooting and basic tactics. Many children that participate in the Spring Developmental program go on to try out for Hudson United’s Travel Soccer league immediately following in May.
Spring Development Program
The Spring Development program is intended for recreational players going into 1st-4th grade that are looking to try out for the Hudson United Travel program in late May. It is led by our professional travel coaches for several weeks in April and May with an emphasis on individual foot skills, passing, shooting and basic tactics.
Who: Participation is open to all soccer players who will be entering grades 1 through 4 in the Fall of 2024. Players will be divided into groups by age. Players going into grades 1 and 2 will train together and players going into grades 3 and 4 will train together.
Equipment: All players must wear shin guards. Players will not be permitted to participate without shin guards. Shin guards need to be worn under soccer socks.
Shoes: Outdoor shoes with molded cleats are recommended.
Water: We encourage all players to bring plenty of bottled water.
Soccer Balls: Players need to bring their own ball.
Jewelry: Please leave all jewelry at home.
