Hudson United puts the safety of our players and families first. We will continue to follow any federal, state, or local guidance. Per CDC guidance, unvaccinated individuals are urged to wear masks at indoor facilities and outdoors when social distancing cannot be maintained. Masks do not need to be worn by any player during active play or practice.
In the Spring of 2008, HUSC began Soccer4All, a program for children with special needs, aged 4-25. The program is geared toward player development rather than competition. Players do not need to be Hudson residents.
There are two Soccer4All sessions each year. Both sessions run every Saturday from 11:00am to 12:00 noon.
2022 Spring and 2022 Fall
All sessions take place at Barlow Farm Park in Hudson.
The Soccer4All program has three primary goals: 1) Get active; 2) Make friends; and 3) Have fun! It also gives parents an opportunity to enjoy watching their children as well as develop friendships themselves.
Players are grouped according to ability and to a lesser extent, their age. There is a coach for each group. The size of the group depends on the number of children that sign up for each session. The first half hour is practice and second half hour is a game.
Soccer4All utilizes many young volunteers called Soccer Buddies. Buddies are fifth grade and above students who assist the Soccer4All players and coaches. In many cases, players are paired up one-on-one with a buddy to offer individualized direction.
